Ron Hammond's path to Signtext included positions at several different manufacturing firms and in capacities ranging from industrial engineering, systems design and implementation, production supervision and operations management,. In 1983 he joined Kux Graphics, a career move that would have a profound effect, both personally and professionally. Kux was a major graphics manufacturer; with both Tier 1 automotive customers and commercial accounts across many other industries. It was at Kux that Ron met and married Claire Friedman. Claire was the daughter of Signtext founder Harold Friedman. As Signtext grew it became evident that Ron's skills and experience would be an asset to the business. He joined Harold, his wife Marge (office manager) and the youngest Friedman daughter, Ellen, who was president of the firm, as Vice President of Operations. Ron became President of Signtext in 2007, after Ellen's sudden and untimely passing.

Ron's experience with tooling, manufacturing processes, silk screen printing, and exposure to the needs of many different customers have provided him with unique capabilities to build upon. He endeavors to guide Signtext into the future with the same goals on which it was founded, with the best interests of its employees and customers as guiding principles, and intelligent investment in new technology as it emerges.

Jerry Feldman's interest in photography led him into that field of study at Wayne State University in the mid 1970s. He has been involved professionally with graphic production since his first darkroom printing job in 1977. After 8 years in production, he moved into sales and account management where he has remained.

In January 2003, after 26 years working in commercial photo labs, Jerry came to Signtext. They had been involved with digital printing technology since its inception. Inkjet technology had evolved far enough to largely replace the photographic display prints which he had provided clients for years. Jerry and Signtext had shared a base of clients for the previous decade and this was an opportunity to provide both print and dimensional services from a single source.

Jerry is a lifelong resident of the Detroit area who resides in Royal Oak. He is married and has two daughters. Jerry loves golf, cooking, travel, doing nothing and single malt scotch.
